I refused to let summer pass me by without having had a mini-vacation, so this past weekend I roadtripped 4 hours to Savannah with my main squeeze.
The forecast was rainy and humid (just my luck) so I dressed for comfort and to protect my crazy hurr, but even with my hat, the frizz got to me. The excitement of being in Savannah trumped my bad hair day and I went on being a full on sightseeing tourist.
There'll be a photo dump in the coming days -- get ready for it. I'll be scrolling through them wishing I was still there and hating that summer is practically over.

Bonaventure Cemetery - I'm a big fan of the novel Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil,
so I had to stop here.
