Pack Light

Black Skinnies & Knotted Chambray
One thing I don't do when I'm traveling is check a bag -- I've lost luggage that way (and I hate paying extra for luggage). That means when I fly I have to stuff everything into a carry-on. And when I say stuff, I mean I have to hop on the suitcase to close it.
For my L.A. trip, I tried something different. Instead of packing way too many outfits, although I really wanted to, I brought things I could rework. This outfit is a more casual version of this one. Yes, I am an outfit repeater, sue me!
With my chambray knotted, easy d'orsay flats and sparkly arm candy, it had a totally different vibe than the first time I wore this jumpsuit. That, and the fact that there was no way I would run into anyone who'd seen me in the same outfit, of course

  2. such gorgeous & artful photos. Your packing approach is genius. I can't tell you how many trips I've put a damper on panicking over the possibility of losing my luggage. I'd love to see a post from you all about choosing what to stuff in your carry on:)
You look amazing and I love the outfit, girl!

  4. I'm so with you on the whole packing thing! I went down to Florida the other month and I crammed everything into one carry on for a long weekend and I'm so glad I did. No fussing or overthinking any outfits. Love this black jumpsuit and those cute d'orsay flats!

  5. I am a self proclaimed outfit repeater and there's nothin wrong with it :] I love that you revamped this classic black romper. Even though I don't own one myself, I'm thinking about making the investment!

  6. Love how you admit that you're an outfit repeater! Honestly if you didn't say something, I would have not noticed it was the same jumpsuit!

  10. Anyone who claims she isn't an outfit repeater is a liar! ;-) I'm a huge fan of only bringing a carry-on bag on vacation. Life is too short to wait at baggage claim!

  13. I totally agree--I always end up over packing and then end up just wearing the same few pieces over and over again! Traveling light also makes room to bring back more gifts! ;)
